Why I Believe Small Group Travel Creates the Best Memories

Some of life’s best memories don’t happen in a crowd. They happen around a dinner table filled with laughter, during a conversation with someone who unexpectedly becomes a friend, or while sharing a breathtaking sunset with people who appreciate the moment just as much as you do.
I’ve been lucky to meet wonderful people throughout my life — through work, family, and everyday moments. Those connections have led to friendships, unforgettable conversations, and memories I’ll always carry with me.
But here’s the truth I don’t always say out loud…
I’ve never been one for large crowds.
While some people thrive in big groups, I’ve always felt most at home in smaller settings — the kind where everyone has space to connect, share stories, and feel seen. There’s something special about traveling with people you actually get to know, exploring new places side by side, and enjoying the journey without feeling lost in a sea of strangers.
That love for meaningful connection is one of the reasons I became a Travel Advisor.
My dream is to bring together adults ages 40 and over who love discovering new destinations and building genuine friendships along the way. Whether it’s sailing on a beautiful cruise, wandering through charming European villages, experiencing the wild beauty of Alaska, relaxing at an all‑inclusive resort, or uncovering hidden gems right here in the U.S., I want every trip to feel welcoming, comfortable, and personal.
Small group travel isn’t about rushing from one attraction to the next. It’s about slowing down enough to savor the experience. It’s about laughing together, trying new foods, celebrating milestones, and creating memories that stay with you long after you return home.
One of my favorite parts of this work is watching strangers on day one become lifelong friends by day ten.
And while I have a special passion for hosting adults who love small‑group travel, families hold a huge place in my heart too. Some of the most treasured vacations happen when parents, grandparents, children, siblings, cousins, and close friends travel together. Family trips create stories that get passed down for generations, and I love helping families plan journeys where everyone can relax, reconnect, and make memories they’ll talk about for years.
Whether you’re traveling solo and hoping to meet new friends, planning a getaway with a few close companions, organizing a family vacation, or simply craving a more personal way to see the world, I’d be honored to help bring your next adventure to life.
Travel has a beautiful way of bringing people together. It reminds us to slow down, laugh a little more, and appreciate the moments that truly matter.
